Job Summary: The Director of Nursing is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services across Curbside Infusion. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered infusion care while maintaining full compliance with clinical standards; regulatory requirements, and company policies.
The Director of Nursing partners closely with executive leadership, clinical operations, scheduling, and human resources to support workforce planning, performance management, clinical education, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a critical role in driving clinical excellence, supporting nursing staff, and scaling nursing operations as the organization grows.

The Director of Nursing leads, mentors, and supports infusion nurses across multiple locations, promotes culture of safety and accountability, and serves as a clinical resource for patients, providers, and staff.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements: 
  • Be a licensed nurse, with a current license. 
  • Minimum of five years of infusion nursing experience. 
  • Two years of supervisory or management roles in clinical operations.  Work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff. 
  • Strong knowledge of WeInfuse software, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), and standard office equipment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various healthcare professionals and stakeholders. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality assurance.

Nursing Department Duties: 
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to all nursing staff, including RNs, LVNs, and Nurse Practitioners. 
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and all applicable regulations. 
  • Oversee staff assignments to ensure adequate clinical coverage and balanced workloads. 
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance; conduct annual and periodic reviews.
  • Implement and oversee ongoing staff education, training, and competency development.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in WeInfuse and patient medical records.
  • Review and approve supply requests; oversee inventory management to align with insurance-approved quantities and operational needs. 
  • Address escalated patient care or operational issues in collaboration with physicians and other leadership. 
  • Track quality metrics and patient satisfaction; develop improvement initiatives where needed. 
  • Review and approve employee timesheets bi-weekly.

Leadership & Administrative:
  • Provide consistent leadership that promotes open communication, teamwork, and operational efficiency. 
  • Review Productivity and Utilization Reports for Nursing Department These include Chair Utilization, Infusion Suite Standardization, and Nurse Utilization. 
  • Conduct periodic and annual performance evaluations for staff. 
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality policies, clinical procedures, and organizational standards. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify areas of improvement in both nursing and scheduling operations. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
